Our Classes

Putting a wag in their tail

Primary School

Our beginners training classes consist of a six week course where you can bring your dog to socialise, experience new things in a safe and controlled environment and to teach then the skills they need to live alongside us.

We use positive based training whereby we ensure that all dogs in the class have positive experiences and all training is force-free. We like to make sure classes are always lots of fun for you and your dog!

In these classes your dog will learn the beginnings of loose lead walking, learn to settle down and chill out (great for those hyper puppies running around the house!), how to sit, stand, lie down, recall, stay, leave things alone, and much more!

You can find our upcoming classes, including dates, timings and venues, and book your course here.

Our primary school course costs £95 and includes:

Hoopers Agility

Hoopers is a fun, fast, low-impact sport and each of our courses run for six weeks. It aims to be an inclusive sport, suitable for all dogs and inclusive of handlers with different abilities. The sport combines the use of hoops, tunnels, barrels and TanGo mats in varied courses.

To participate in these classes your dog will need to have good off-lead recall and be friendly around other dogs and people. We will teach you the rest of the skills!

Our hoopers course costs £55 and includes:

– Six group sessions

Playgroup

Our Play Group is for anyone who wants to have some fun with their dog!

During these classes we include elements of agility and rally, as well as working on core skills. Have fun navigating courses, playing in tunnels, practicing recall, learn games to play together and more!

We also make use of clicker training for anyone that would like to do this with their dog. Studies have shown the amazing training results from the use of clickers.

We hope our classes will be lots of fun, providing great mental and physical stimulation, and enrichment for your dog.

The courses run on a six week basis and you can continue coming to as many of them as you like!

Relaxed Rally Obedience

Rally Obedience is the very latest dog sport to be recognised by the Kennel Club. It’s fun and no matter what level you and your dog may be at, it’s easy to get involved and start training. At Positively Pawfect, we run our Rally classes for fun rather than competitions so it’s a great way to spend some time with your dog, building your bond together as well as practising their skills and teaching them new ones.

Rally gets you and your dog working as a team to navigate a course with numbered signs indicating different exercises to perform; think of it as a sort of ‘obedience exercise obstacle course’ including simple exercises.

If you’re new to Rally, don’t worry! We work at your dogs’ ability level and at a pace that you’re comfortable with. There’s no pressure, just have fun! We will teach you each skill at a time, and will help you to start putting these into a sequence as your dog learns their way through the course. There are so many combinations, they never get boring! It’s a great way to give your dog some enrichment and one on one time with you.

Classes are held at an indoor equestrian centre so please wear suitable footwear and keep your dog on a lead.

You can find our upcoming classes, including dates, timings and venues, and book your course here.

Our rally course costs £65 and includes six weekly classes
